Off Road Racing Cars

Off road racing cars are made much sturdier in design and structure in order to run on rough terrains.

In this rough and tough racing specially modified cars participate in races on off-road terrains like in a desert. In Europe, "offroad" has a different connotation conveying autocross or rallycross. Deasert races, there, are called "cross-country rallies". Many casualities including deaths have quite often taken place in these kinds of races in the past.
